About
About Our Organization
Tottenham Railers Jr Hockey Club and New Tecumseth Ice Hockey Programs, two established hockey programs have collaborated to help create one emerging organization under the brand New Tecumseth Stars - a Not-for-Profit, more community focused, professional option for local talent to enjoy.
Built with the local minor hockey community in mind, the New Tecumseth Stars 4-on-4 program complements the winter season by emphasizing skill development, creativity, and fast-paced game play. Smaller teams and 4-on-4 action mean more puck touches, more decision-making opportunities, and greater confidence for every player.
We focus on creating a positive and organized experience for players and parents alike. Games are scheduled on weeknights only following the May long weekend, and are held during prime-time evening hours. All games feature certified officials, a dedicated convenor at every game, and balanced teams to ensure fair, competitive play.
In addition, we are able to offer development programs, learn to play, and day camps to support ongoing growth of the game in our locale.
We are excited to offer a new summer four-week training camp for elite athletes looking to move to a higher level for the next season!
There is no fundraising required, and players enjoy access to team standings, adding to the excitement while keeping the focus on development and fun.
