Spring Skating and Skills Development
Our Spring League Hockey Skills Development Camp is designed to help minor hockey players build confidence, speed, and complete on-ice skill during the off-season. Running once a week for 12 weeks, this structured program provides consistent, high-quality development in a focused and supportive environment.
Each session is divided into two specialized one-hour segments to maximize player growth.
The first hour is led by a certified power skating coach and focuses on refining skating fundamentals. Players will work extensively on edgework, balance, stride efficiency, agility, and skating strength, helping them move faster and more confidently in all directions. Strong skating is the foundation of hockey success, and this portion of the program ensures players develop proper technique and power.
The second hour shifts to comprehensive hockey skills development. Players will train in key areas such as shooting, passing, stickhandling, puck control, and situational skills, with drills designed to transfer directly to game play. Sessions emphasize repetition, decision-making, and proper habits, allowing players to improve both individual skills and overall hockey IQ.
This spring league is ideal for players looking to maintain momentum, sharpen skills, and prepare for the upcoming season. With qualified coaching, progressive weekly sessions, and a strong focus on fundamentals, athletes leave the program stronger, faster, and more confident on the ice.
